Hi! My name is
Dawn
Oliver and I’d like to
share with you the
’Myatoozee
Australia’ story.
I have been a school teacher for a long time and I
have often met people who have great ideas. I try to help them fulfil
their dreams and often they do.
To celebrate Expo 1988, ‘Tall Ships’ arrived at the
Hamilton Wharves, Brisbane, Australia. I created an educational place
mat (like a mouse mat) for a friend, based on Australian History. A
budgerigar called ‘Bluey’, told how he was a native Australian and was
the most popular household pet in the world, having being transported
from Australia to the Mother country (Britain) via tall ship.
(See special
offer.)
Well, that was the start of a long creative venture
and Bluey is no more. However,
here I am, flying about! ...
in a helicopter, (below)
photographing the township near where I live and have a
Community Art
Gallery. The township is
called ‘Coominya’, meaning ’I see water’. Coominya is in the Somerset
Region of South-East Qld, Australia. It is a pretty place and I love
living here and working with the people in this and the surrounding
regions.
I want us all to fulfil our dreams; so if you have a
great idea you would like to share, then please tell me about it, and
you never know I
may be able to help start you on your flight!
